I am currently Research Fellow in the Innovation Policy and Scaling Unit at the International Food Policy Research Institute and an Associate Research Fellow at LICOS Centre for Institutions and Economic Performance of the KULeuven, Belgium. My research evolves around smallholder agriculture, especially in East Africa. I have published on food market integration and smallholder market participation. More recently, I have started investigating the potential of Information and Communication Technologies to make agricultural extension more inclusive and effective.
